Sexual and Erotic Wellness for Women

Sex Therapy for Women San Francisco

Women I work with often say things like:

  • "I don't really know my body, or what gives me pleasure."
  • "Talking to my partner/s about what I need or want is really hard!"
  • "I feel obligated to have sex, but I don't always like it."
  • "Sometimes I say yes when I don't really want to."
  • "I don't really feel very confident in bed."
  • "It's hard for me to have an orgasm with a partner."
  • "Masturbation, Ugh."
  • "I want to feel deeply and intimately connected to my partner/s, but I don't always feel that with myself."
  • "I feel uncomfortable with how my body looks, especially during sex.
  • "I like giving pleasure to my partner, but it's really hard to receive it."
  • "Since I don't really know what I want, I often go along with my partner's desire."
  • "I feel guilty when I want sex and my partner doesn't."
  • "Some of my fantasies are really weird, and I feel uncomfortable with them."
  • "I feel a block between my heart and my genitals." (usually in the diaphragm or belly)
  • "I feel numb down there."
  • "It hurts."
  • "I have a hard time getting turned on."
  • "I wish we were having more sex!"

I work with all self-identified women.
